In celebration of the film’s upcoming release, director Harmony Korine has teamed up with SUPRA to create a Spring Breakers edition of the Donavyn. Paying homage to Korine’s past and his link to skateboarding (the director penned the screenplay for Larry Clark‘s Kids), the low-top features a bold pink and turquoise colorway – inspired by Spring Breakers‘ Florida setting – that makes use of a newly developed technology to render the full-grain leather upper with a shiny, patent leather look. Finishing off the look is subtle black branding and additional black accents on the vulcanized rubber outsole and terry lining. The unique edition of the SUPRA Donavyn is limited to just 100 pairs while Spring Breakers – starring James Franco as hustler Alien and Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine as college-aged girls who decide to rob a fast food joint to pay for their spring break – is set to hit theaters on March 15 in Los Angeles and New York before landing nationwide the following week.
