More than three years in the making, racer and Minnesota native Ryan Gates and Mitsubishi have unveiled the 311RS at this year’s Twin Cities Auto Show in Minneapolis. A limited edition, souped-up version of Mitsubishi’s Lancer Evolution X, the 311RS is meant to be the perfect vehicle for both the track and street and features aftermarket AMS parts in place of the Evo X’s standard intercooler, intake and exhaust systems. Boasting 353 hp alongside 359 lb-ft of torque, the car also makes use of custom 18” RAYS wheels, high-performance Nitto tires, Girodisc brakes, and a JRZ suspension, as well as a special body kit with a white paint job and metallic blue accents. Limited to just 11 production models, the 311RS will carry a retail price of $49,000 USD.
