Nike Basketball ELITE Series 2.0

Depicting flagship athletes LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant as modern day basketball superheroes, Nike Basketball has unveiled its ELITE Series 2.0 of postseason footwear. Featuring updated editions of the LeBron X, Kobe 8 System, and a new low-top take on the KD V, the ELITE Series 2.0 builds on last year’s collection and includes the use of Kevlar® aramid – typically used for body armor thanks to its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio – alongside articulated foam cushioning and carbon fiber applications for added strength and stability. The trio of premium superhero-inspired footwear will launch at select Nike Basketball retailers across the globe on April 27 – just days after the start of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.
