Stighlorgan 2013 Fall/Winter "When the North Wind Blows" Lookbook

Stighlorgan’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection dubbed “when the north blows” is inspired by a modern island that faces a dark and tumultuous ocean – depicted in a lovely poem by Davin Gaffney. All items in the collection have been inspired by this poem. From the Batten range, which takes its name from “batten down the hatches” and features extra large storm flaps which can be secured over exposed zips and pockets, to the buoy range which features natural calico cotton canvases lacquered with neon red and cyan blues. Keeping up the momentum with previous seasons from Stighlorgan, the whole collection has once again been reinvented for the season and features all-new styles, fabrics and techniques as well as new product areas such as small leather goods, technical accessories and headwear.
