Schofield Watch Company has unveiled its limited edition Blacklamp Carbon watch. Produced in a limited run of just 101 pieces, the Blacklamp Carbon’s case is made from a single billet of a proprietary material called Morta – a special carbon fiber matrix that is hand-laid and formed into small billets. Powering the watch is a Unitas 6497-2 movement decorated with Geneva stripes and rhodium plating. The grooved dial features a combination of numerals and indices, with a sub-dial at six o’clock, and around the rim is a ring of Moonglow – a material developed by NASA that illuminates the dial in low-light conditions. Each of the 101 pieces is named after an individual lighthouse in England and bears its coordinates. The Blacklamp Carbon watch is available now from Schofield Watch Company’s online boutique for £9,900 GBP (approximately $16,200 USD).
