Purple - The Club (Shlohmo Remix)

London-via-Portugal beat crafter Purple released the dreamy sonic number “The Club” off his Salvation EP a few months back. Now Shlohmo has taken into his own hands to remix the track. Here, the LA-based artist adds a brooding bassline and drags the eerie vocals further into darker territories, while a subtle breakbeat flutters in the background, keeping a momentum in between the ghostly edits. Released via Shlohmo’s WEDIDIT collective, the remix sits alongside other reworks by Jim-E Stack, IVVVO in the Salvation Remix EP, set to drop December 11.
