In celebrating the classic Freestyle, Reebok tapped Reebok Classics Asia Creative Director, AMBUSH founder and J-pop icon VERBAL for a brand new video. Dubbed “Run Free,” the piece sees VERBAL joined by R&B artist AI and singer/songwriter Miliyah Kato for a colorful, Vector-emblazoned music video of sorts to the track of the same name – a bonus cut from AI’s 10th studio album, this summer’s MORIAGARO. For those that don’t know, the Freestyle, which was originally introduced in 1982, was one of the first athletic sneakers to be designed specifically for women and hit the market at the height of the aerobic fitness craze – hence the aerobics-inspired visuals for “Run Free.” Check out the video above and look for the Freestyle now in a bevy of colorways and cuts at Reebok stockists across the globe.
