In continued celebration of its “Paris Meets Los Angeles” collection, Garrett Leight has teamed up with Thierry Lasry on this second limited edition collaborative release for 2013 fall/winter. Amalgamating both imprints’ unique qualities, the line draws inspiration from each designer’s home city, reinterpreting vintage silhouettes with modern flair. The glasses, simply dubbed as “Number 2” takes a classic profile and imparts a modish twist. Available in four colorways, each pair features blue acetate at the bridge and temples and hand-drilled rivets and screws. Finished with a specially designed box by LA-based artist Ashkahn, the collaboration is another special venture from the two longtime eyewear staples.
