Yesterday, the iconic American shoemaker Converse previewed its Holiday 2013 collections for both its Chuck Taylor All Star line as well as its Jack Purcell division. Here we offer a look at a small selection of the Chuck T’s that are now available at select stockists around the globe. The first is the Chuck Taylor All Star Hollis with “sawtooth” outsole, Thinsulate lining and heavy tumbled leather that provides a unique ageing aesthetic. This boot-like remake is available in black, chocolate, charcoal and gray for $90 USD. The second drop we wish to spotlight is the Chuck Taylor All Star Leather. Although maintaining much of its original silhouette, this version of Converse’s classical sneaker sees a heavy leather upper mixed with a Thinsulate inner lining.
