Ben Sherman teamed up with The Rig Out magazine to release a lookbook for Spring/Summer 2013, with a campaign entitled “Jazz Life.” Shot by photographer Antony Crook, the lookbook was taken in an iconic London music studio, lending a nice backdrop to an already snazzy collection. Featured here are sport coats, patterned short-sleeve shirts, sweaters, and even a line of footwear. Aside from the location though, the spring/summer range is given a refreshingly different context. Though music today is as complex as its ever been, the popularity of jazz in pop culture is often questioned, albeit mourned. The cool, collected nature of jazz is oft reiterated in fashion. Somehow this new lookbook hits all the right notes, capturing the true essence of jazz perfectly.
