Nike has just unveiled the “Year of the Snake” Air Force 1, marking the 12th consecutive year of Chinese Zodiac-themed footwear. This latest release, available in both high and low-top versions, features liberal doses of snakeskin. First up is the low-top Air Force 1 CMFT model which sports a vibrant red leather upper with tonal snakeskin paneling on the toe box and side panel with a contrasting black Swoosh, purple lining, and black and purple sole; this bright make-up brings together a mix of colors that are rarely seen together but are cohesive nonetheless. The high-top Air Force 1 Hi CMFT version also finds itself playing host to an assortment of colors; the black leather upper plays second fiddle to the colored snakeskin inserts on the toe box, side panels, Swoosh, ankle strap and eyelets. Both versions offer eye-catching looks and make great additions to the already impressive list of Chinese New Year shoes from Nike.
