When the IMPOSSIBLE Project set out on their journey to restore the Polaroid technology’s presence within the psyche of a new generation, it never imagined that the analog-style it helped spearhead would gain traction so quickly. As mobile photo Apps and filter-heavy programs have redefined the new age photographer’s tool bag, IMPOSSIBLE has managed to harness an old technology by triumphing nostalgia and analog aesthetics to revive the once dying art. Hitting hard for 2013, IMPOSSIBLE releases a small range of Vintage Polaroid SX-70 Cameras. Offered up in an assortment of colorways and custom Japan Print motifs, the Polaroid SX-70 Original cameras sport a 4-element 116mm f/8 glass lens, electronic shutter, a socket for flash units, and a port for a remote shutter release.
The Polaroid SX-70’s and other new releases from IMPOSSIBLE are now available via the HYPEBEAST online store. Shop now here.
