Miami shoe brand Del Toro continues a string of recent releases with this slick chukka-style offering for Spring/Summer 2013. The Tomahawk Jam is crafted with pure nappa leather around the upper and sits atop a grey crepe sole. The defining feature here, undoubtedly, comes in the form of a leather fringe that sits around the ankle at the top of the silhouette, lending the shoe a certain Native American feel – hence the name. The Tomahawk Jam builds nicely on Del Toro’s interest in hybrid footwear, that which blurs the line between formal and active.
