One of the latest acts to emerge from the Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s label is R&B/pop crooner LIZ. A born and raised valley girl by way of Tarzana, California who’s taken on the tasks of creating ageless pop gold. She effortlessly adopts modern R&B’s glossiest melodies and subtly infuses the streets to create tasteful post-ratchet lollipop sounds. Out of the gate, her first offering “XTC” is best put as candy-painted melodies over trapped out Y2K bubblegum beats.
