Slovakian designer Tomas Kral‘s Homework Table employs a “moat-like” design as a charming and inventive way to organize and accommodate the necessities of the working creative. Fabricated from aluminum and ash, the metal periphery is in stark contrast to the main wood section – yet it’s the jarring juxtaposition that allows the owner to realize that things that are superfluous on the main section can be jarringly removed without dinging or gouging the wood. While little is known regarding the availability of the table or whether this is a one-off creation, there’s no denying that hitting the books looks more appealing when you’ve got your legs underneath this beauty.
