A brand often reserved in their approach to collaborations, 10.Deep‘s most recent efforts feature Popeye’s arch nemesis, Brutus (also referred to as Bluto). The brand has often taken a stance against reappropriating “pre-existing, iconic, corporate, established intellectual property (legally, anyway)” but this opportunity with Brutus had a certain allure to 10.Deep founder Scott Sasso. The result is a small but concerted capsule including T-shirts, cut & sew tops and accessories that pay homage to the evil side of the Popeye franchise. The collection releases today starting at 3:00 p.m. through 10.Deep’s online store.
