Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 "Tassie Devil"
There’s been a venerable line of purple New Balances before it, but Sneaker Freaker look to top

There’s been a venerable line of purple New Balances before it, but Sneaker Freaker look to top them all with its 10th anniversary Tassie Devil 998. Conceptually the shoe may lack some of the storyline enjoyed by previous Sneaker Freaker exploits, instead focusing heavily on the use of purple such as eggplant, violet, mauve, lilac and lavender among other colors. The shoe’s name itself is in honor of Australia’s regional marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil. The animals are on the brink of extinction due to an ongoing facial tumor disease. With that in mind, money from the sale of the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 “Tassie Devil” will directly benefit the animal. For more information refer to Sneaker Freaker‘s 25th issue.
