The busy week continues for Detroit-native rapper Danny Brown, whom earlier released an animated short about beating up crackheads, but also walked in the Spring/Summer 2013 Mark McNairy New Amsterdam runway show. Brown now releases his newest song, titled “Change,” which is set to appear on the upcoming collaborative LP Danny Johnson. Produced by the duo Johnson and Jonson, the track sees new vocal territory for the MC, whose rhymes are uncharacteristically calm and flow naturally with the understated beat. Only time will tell if this is something we can come to expect from Brown in his new work.
