Nike Sportswear Air Vortex 2012 Holiday Collection

Nike Sportswear has seen much success from its archives — notably, by way of the “VNTG” designation. For Fall/Winter 2012, the Beaverton camp is debuting a few new colorways of the Air Vortex. As the “vintage” moniker implies, the pairs are mocked up in slightly weathered upper constructions with distressed midsole detailing and off-colored laces and accents. Each colorway is built from a mixture of suede, mesh and nylon paneling with the majority of the aesthetic being characterized by a tonal palette that is rounded out with hits of contrasting colors. Availability for the range will be offered through Overkill.
