In an unusual meeting of the minds, Converse aligns with both Andre Saravia aka Monsieur A — the owner of the Le Baron and Le Bain night club chain — and Olivier Zahm’s French publication Purple Magazine to rework the Chuck Taylor All-Star silhouette. Each pair reappropriates a vintage white Chuck Taylor All-Star adding a leather lining, fluorescent outsole and its collaborator’s branding. Although releasing in store at the Up There Store on October 15, both pairs are currently available on the Australian boutique’s webshop for $140 USD.
