Japan’s D.I.G Architects showcase one of their latest projects – a stunning sail-inspired residence in Nagoya, Japan. Working within the confines of a small and steeply sloped space, the architectural firm has created a multi-level residence that starts at ground level and descends down. Echoing the stark, angled exterior, the interior boasts clean lines and sharp angles and a modern color palette of white, grey and black. Lacking any central walls or divisions, the architects have created a property that will allow the residents to dictate the use of space based on their needs and intuitions rather than physical constraints.
