While this interview was record prior to the recent news of Aaliyah’s family stating their disapproval, immediately following this past weekend’s OVO Fest, Drake spoke with MuchMusic about his performance, the brand new Aaliyah single “Enough Said,” and her posthumous album commanded by himself and “40.″ Drizzy went on to share that he’ll be including artists that were essential to the singer’s career and that it will include roughly 13-14 tracks. In even more news related to Aaliyah’s family, Miss Info has recently shared an article in which she says Aaliyah’s mother is in support of the project. According to a high-level source at Blackground Records (run by Aaliyah’s uncle Barry Hankerson and cousin Jomo Hankerson), who delivered the following message:
Let them know that it’s family stuff that we’re working thru now but Aaliyah’s mother wanted us to do this!
