After unveiling the music video for “Van Vogue,” releasing a Jim Jones diss track, covering Dazed & Confused magazine, and announcing the release date of her debut album, it’s been quite a past couple of weeks for Azealia Banks. But according to her, things are about get even more exciting. After exchanging some friendly tweets with Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga, on Twitter yesterday, Banks used the social network to associate herself with another superstar. It’s no secret that Kanye West is a fan of the 21-year-old Harlemite, but apparently, he’s now called upon her to lend her artistic hand to his work. Check out Banks’ tweets below, which have lead to the belief that the she will be joining Yeezy in his go-to recording paradise of Honolulu, Hawaii where he has worked on such albums as 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Throne. Could Banks be a part of the final sessions for G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer, due out September 18? Only time will tell.
