Naoki Hirakoso‘s latest piece brings yet another remarkable shape to wooden furniture design. The Yata Stool combines classic clean minimal lines with a practical Japanese aesthetic to present a beautiful stackable chair range that is also easily maneuvered into a classy coffee table arrangement. This intelligent tri-angled design hails from Tokyo, home of the illustrious Japanese designer in the wake of his move back from Milan, and was showcased at the Tokyo Designers Week late last year to much acclaim.
