The latest exhibition to be showcased at Takashi Murakami’s own Kaikai Kiki Gallery is set to feature pieces from artists Mahomi Kunikata, Chinatsu Ban and several others. Central to the display, Kunikata has incorporated themes of cruelty and self-mutilation into an engaging array of artwork, presenting a unique vision of contemporary Japanese art integrating facets of Japanese subculture also. The gallery plans on showcasing pieces from other international artists in coming months.
