A hybrid within its own right, Nike’s tendency to blend sneaker silhouettes sees a relatively new application that seemingly pulls elements of hi-top sneakers and desert boots to curate the latest Air Sauble Premium TZ. Donning an all-tan suede upper, the pair imitates some explicit structural sensibilities from the likes of Nike’s Air Royal Mid model. A semi-translucent waffle outsole gives nod to the look of a crepe sole while still retaining the rugged durability afforded by a heavy duty lugged outsole. Incorporating an assortment of practical elements into the design, the upper is given hits of perforated leather panels across the rear heel and toe box while padded ankle piping provide a degree of comfort and wearability. A perfect compromise for both the sneakerhead who has yet to venture into the uncharted boot territory and the seasoned heritage footwear enthusiast alike. Availability is now offered through select Nike Sportswear stockists worldwide, although availability is liking to be limited due to the Tier Zero nature of this particular release.
