Recent startup BaseOneLabs quickly cut their teeth making the military-spec impact-resistant Impactband for the iPhone. Now, the iPhone 4/4S are about to get a full case treatment, with BaseOneLabs’ upcoming GunnerCase. Inspired by the recoil padding on a shotgun stock, this new patent-pending case utilizes a closed air-cell pocket skeleton to absorb and redistribute impact force from heights up to 6.6 feet.
