The small mountain town of Montebelluna, Italy is home to Diemme, who has been making footwear for trekking and mountain climbing since 1992. Diemme’s craftsmanship has always held a highly technical, yet very fashionable and even luxurious aesthetic to it. So their collaboration with Italian streetwear retailer Slam Jam to create a limited edition co-op Movida Basket was a natural one. The rugged trekking shoe is constructed of hydro-repellent suede, and houses a Vibram sole, Micro midsole and gum toe cap. The bold exterior upper contrasts sharply with the white leather lining and features Diemme’s signature contrasting laces. The boots retail for €200 EUR (approximately $260 USD) and each colorway can already be purchased from the Slam Jam online store.
