The practice of lining up for shoes outside the store on the sidewalk in the wee hours of the morning hasn’t occurred in some time, but it was alive and well at the opening of the brand new SUPRA NYC store located at 4 Prince St. in the heart of SoHo. People started camping out shortly after 3 a.m. the night before and, by opening, the line of fans stretched all the way down the block. And for good reason: the brand new, 850-square-foot location offers U.S. consumers, for the first time ever, the ability to experience the full breadth of the SUPRA line of products all in one place. It’s more than just a shoe store because inside the beautifully designed space, the brand’s signature advertising campaign comes to life. The legendary line of shoes, hats and shirts are elegantly displayed in the distinctive environment the brand is known for creating: black mirrors, dark woods and infinite backdrops.
