New Amy Winehouse songs are “autobiographical as ever”

While Universal is considering posthumously releasing 12 songs that Amy Winehouse had recorded before her death, a spokesperson for her family has revealed that the songs document her divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil. Thus, the late and great songstress appears to had continued to her autobiographical approach of songwriting.
“Amy always had a notebook on her and would write down lyrics and ideas. People who have heard the new songs say that they are very, very good and that they are as autobiographical as ever.”
According to Mail Online, the material would be released next year using vocals from the singer and contributions from her friends. The proceeds would be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation – the charity the singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse, wants to set up to help people overcome addiction.
What are your thoughts on this? Shall the material be released?
