There is no doubt that Jay-Z and Kanye West are showing great effort in properly present their collaborative album Watch the Throne. With a visual contribution by Spike Jonze and original artwork by Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, creative director of Givenchy and an extensive tour, the project has indeed received a royal treatment so far. Now, The Throne is pushing the envelope a bit further as both rappers have opened a pop-up shop in New York City at Openhouse Gallery (201 Mulberry St.). There, you can a have a close glimpse at Riccardo Tisci-blessed artwork and the chopped-up Maybach from the “Otis” video, which is being auctioned off to benefit the East African drought disaster. In addition, the album will available in exchange of $15.
