Being offered is another audio preview from the upcoming Buddy Holly tribute album Rave On Buddy Holly. The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas takes on the LP’s title track and adds some 2011 rock twist to the original version which was recorded back in 1959. Packed with other contributions from the likes of Paul McCartney, Cee Lo Green, Florence and the Machine among others, Rave On Buddy Holly is slated for a June 28 release via Fantasy Records/Concord Music Group. In the meantime, stream below!
