But while he’s been absent on that note, he’s been present over the past few months with his major achievements of signing to Shady Records and gracing the 2011 XXL Freshman Class cover. For his first solo release since those events, Yela decided to drop off a song that was appropriately themed for yesterday – the day that superstitious people fear. The track, entitled “Kill My Nightmare,” plays tribute to Friday the 13th with its dark sound, lyrics and Jason mask cover art.
