Converse 2011 Spring/Summer “Black Mountain College" Collection

Converse Japan rolls out its new concept for Spring/Summer 2011 with Upperline. The collection is being launched this spring with the theme “Black Mountain College” which was inspired by a school that was closed by Nazis in the 1930s. The creative team consisting of director Yoshikage Fujiwara, designer Fujiwara Masahiro and graphic designer Michiharu Shimoda adds key elements to the new concept that are both reminiscent of Converse’s heritage, but also reflect their Japanese influence. Look for this collection to be released soon through selected retailers.
