The Stepkids - Suburban Dream

Directed and animated by Chris King, “Suburban Dream” is taken from The Stepkids debut, self-titled album. Signed to Stones Throw Records, this trio of singer/songwriters were formerly individual band members who shared stages with 50 Cent, Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill. To those who are new to the act, their music is a hybrid of punk and jazz, West African and 1960s folk, neo and classic soul, classic funk and 20th century classical. Befitting the Stones Throw music mantra perfectly.
