New Era recently finalized phase two of its ambitious project – New Era Introducing – that invited artists from around the world to enter their own creative interpretations of the storied 59FIFTY fitted cap. The winning entrant, Lina Al Amoudi of the United Arab Emirates took home the contest’s £10,000 GBP (approximately $16,000 USD) bursary, in addition to having her work highlighted alongside the contest’s other featured entries for a global traveling exhibition tour. The gallery tour, which will begin in London on November 4 and 5 and culminate in Dubai on March 9 and 10 of 2012, will be open to the public for two days of free viewing.
