It seems almost fitting that the Ford Mustang Boss 302 was born in 1969, and the radar gun came soon after that. 42 years in the making, the Boss 302 has returned with an exterior that is every bit as lean and mean as its predecessor. Under the hood, the 444-horsepower Hi-Po 302 4V Ti-VCT V8 engine features a “runner in the box” intake manifold and forged pistons, sodium valves, valve springs, new rods, oil cooler and high-lift cams. All of this culminates with an engine capable of 7,500 rpm. Get ready for it come springtime.
