NIGO’s latest venture, HUMAN MADE, has branched into Taiwan with the opening of a combined retail store and gallery in Taipei. With a clearly vintage aesthetic drawn to compliment the Japanese fashion icon’s stable of Americana-inspired pieces, this store is the second HUMAN MADE space, following its Tokyo flagship debut. In addition to the line of heritage clothing, 143 framed copies of the June 2006 issue of Interview Magazine featuring NIGO, taken from his own home decoration, will be made available for purchase. A selection of his personal vintage toy collection will also be exhibited and rotated monthly, allowing avid collectors a chance to procure some choice items.
