Previewed earlier this month, here is a look at the cover art for the Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks Book. Together with Abrams, fashion house Louis Vuitton are set to publish this book entitled “100 Legendary Trunks”. Set for a release in December the book examines the brand’s most iconic pieces of luggage to date. Curated by authors Pierre Léonforte and Éric Pujalet-Plaà, the pair examine boxes made on commission, including cases designed for movie stars from Douglas Fairbanks to Sharon Stone and couturiers from Jeanne Lanvin to Karl Lagerfeld, as well as cases designed for Ernest Hemingway, Leopold Stokowski, and Damien Hirst. Illustrated with 600 images pulled from the extensive Louis Vuitton archives, the book also features a host of new snaps, captured specifically for this release.
