Due to overwhelming demand, Art Space Tokyo is being considered for a re-print in its original hardcover format, should enough people pre-order the book. For all those who missed out on this comprehensive guide to Tokyo’s contemporary arts scene, the 272-page book introduces twelve of the city’s most architecturally and historically distinctive art galleries and museums via interviews, essays, maps and illustrations by Nobumasa Takahashi. The book also features two detailed maps, a sewn-in bookmark and a two-color silk-screened cloth cover, all of which bring an artistic quality to the book itself.

If the money raised from the pre-order reaches $15,000 the book will be re-released and an iPad edition with additional content will be produced. However, should the target fail to be reached, customers will be refunded and the project will be cancelled. Pre-order your copy here.
