Recognizing the efforts of fashion designer/artist Stephen Sprouse, Louis Vuitton launched a memorable affair last night, throwing together special gatherings at three separate locations in anticipation for their upcoming Stephen Sprouse tribute collection. Beginning at the Louis Vuitton flagship store in SoHo, the world renown label displayed their Stephen Sprouse bags with a live ’80’s show that had Marc Jacobs bringing back the era in a pair of LV tights. An exhibition at Deitch Projects and party at a club on the Bowery capped off the night, drawing guests that included Paper Magazine’s Kim Hastreiter, Nicole Miller, Tim Helen Lee Schifter, Donna Karan, Brooke Shields and Molly Sims. The mother of Stephen Sprouse was also in attendance with Deborah Harry putting on a mini-concert. The Marc Jacobs updated Stephen Sprouse collection is expect to hit Louis Vuitton outlets very soon.
