Formerly part of Medium Footwear, Coleman Horn has branched out to create his very own line of footwear titled Vael. The design incorporates both a sense of nostalgia of vintage styles with updated design influences to create footwear accurate for the present day. Some of their footwear is well suited for the rigors of the wilderness while others are perfect for stomping the streets.

In what’s becoming a predictable partnership, designer Roland Berry has come to the side of Reebok for another collaborative effort. Three colorful designs can be seen here, no word yet on a release date.

In4mation in conjunction with San Diego’s 5 & A Dime Gallery will unveil a special pop-up store and gallery. Aside from housing In4mation’s most recent collection, the space will also serve as an arena for New York metal photographer Angela Boatwright. Boatwright’s fondness for metal and photography have made her a hot commodity amongst companies such as Sony Records, Tommy Boy records, New York Magazine, Elle, Spin, Mass Appeal and Urban Outfitters. The opening event featuring Angela’s works will take place March 8th between 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

With a successful partnership in 2007 behind them, clothing label FUCT and LA based photographer Shawn Mortensen put together the pieces to another small release of photo tees. The tees include former troubled super model Kate Moss adorned in Vivienne Westwood attire as she watches on at the same aforementioned designer’s show. The other tee features famed rapper Ice Cube reading Dick Gregory’s controversial book Nigger: An Autobiography. The Ice Cube tee will be available in Europe and Japan in limited release. Both tees are slated for an April 15th release.
Conceived half a decade ago in New York City, Destroy relocated shop in Portland back in 2006. The brand name was inspired in part by Picasso’s belief that creation requires an act of destruction. From there on in, their retail location and gallery allowed for some interesting team ups along the way. Their 2008 Spring collection includes designs such as the Beautiful Thief, Where We Be, Make It Rain, Beautiful Thief Varsity and Bird is the Word by Charlie Kraft.
