As the year has seen a steady stream of releases, this month will mark the debut of the high-end Addict collection which looks to feature high quality materials and updated construction techniques. Although we have a strong suspicion these OG-looking models aren’t necessarily worth the highly inflated price tag despite Vibram soles and newly updated Poron-insoles, we’ll reserve judgment as more Addict-related offerings release. The first batch including the Natural Chuck Taylor Hi and Leather Chuck Taylor Hi both ring in at ¥16,800 JPY and ¥24,150 JPY respectively (approximately $169 USD and $243 USD).
