Censorship is Weak as F##k Exhibiton

Censorship is Weak as F##k Exhibiton

The Hundreds and Brooklyn Projects will kick off the opening of their Censorship is Weak as F##k exhibition tonight with a special VIP party. The exhibition is a retrospective look at the history of skate art by Sean Cliver and Marc Mckee under the realm of World Industries. Their characteristically controversial and sarcastic art would be a highlighting point as World Industries would allow no social issue to be untouched as seen in this showcase. Back in June, it was revealed that artist Kaws was to throw in some characteristics from his trademark Companion figures with Tokyo Tribe character Hasheem to create a toy. nonnative x New Balance M1700

The bare essentials is a good way to describe nonnative’s take on their version of the New Balance M1700. The once running marvel and flagship of the New Balance collection has been offered in two low key colors. The grey joint most likely tickles the fancy of those hard to please conservative northern Europeans that grace the likes of the Crooked Tongues forums while the white pair makes me think Warren Moon and the days of the defunct Houston Oilers. (COMMUNE) 2007 Fall/Winter Collection Part 1

(COMMUNE) 2007 Fall/Winter Collection Part 1

Like many brands, (COMMUNE) was born out of the personal necessity to fill a void. (COMMUNE) set out to create a brand which took back certain elements prevalent in other forms of fashion and produce it on a more authentic level. The inspirations of bikes and cars of the outlaw nature is not a new concept, however there are few if any brands completing the full circle and encompassing design and quality together as one. Enter (COMMUNE) and their 2007 Fall/Winter Collection. Here’s the first taste of a four part look at their exciting and invigorating line which includes their cut & sew and t-shirt offerings. A full list of retailers can be seen at (COMMUNE)’s site. Image: HYPEBEAST
