Back in June, it was revealed that artist Kaws was to throw in some characteristics from his trademark Companion figures with Tokyo Tribe character Hasheem to create a toy. Originally seen in grey, the end result seen here seems to have been altered with a new face. Only two stores in Japan will receive shipment of these for their December 22nd release date. Also available will be two t-shirts created with Santastic.

The bare essentials is a good way to describe nonnative’s take on their version of the New Balance M1700. The once running marvel and flagship of the New Balance collection has been offered in two low key colors. The grey joint most likely tickles the fancy of those hard to please conservative northern Europeans that grace the likes of the Crooked Tongues forums while the white pair makes me think Warren Moon and the days of the defunct Houston Oilers.

Like many brands, (COMMUNE) was born out of the personal necessity to fill a void. (COMMUNE) set out to create a brand which took back certain elements prevalent in other forms of fashion and produce it on a more authentic level. The inspirations of bikes and cars of the outlaw nature is not a new concept, however there are few if any brands completing the full circle and encompassing design and quality together as one. Enter (COMMUNE) and their 2007 Fall/Winter Collection. Here’s the first taste of a four part look at their exciting and invigorating line which includes their cut & sew and t-shirt offerings. A full list of retailers can be seen at (COMMUNE)’s site.

Armed with wholesale tees bought from hustlers on 28th St. and the NYU screen printing rooms, Knucklehead Kids was born. The brand is a journey which follows the upbringing of two best friends Gogy Esparza and Shan Pooviriyakul. As a lifestyle brand watch the brand reflect the developments of these two. Each t-shirt comes in it’s own unique packaging, befitting the theme of each shirt.
This first batch will release December 15th at Reed Space with subsequent orders hitting Spring accounts such as Union NYC, Concepts and Frank151.
