Anybody hear the same?

That would be two SB accounts in a close ass proximity...

Adrift has great pricing on their Vans and sb's...they have a great selection of Vans...and they actually have some girl clothing (wesc, stussy, etc)...should be interesting to see the effect on LS and GDFT....

Or maybe I heard wrong?

^ i dont see it happening.

1) the space is huge
2) most brands are'nt going to sell her there
3) by the time the lock down a space and renovate it will be summer and my shop will be open in 3 weeks and any of the brands I have arent going in there.
4) skate suppliers aren't going to seel her because hogtown and So Hip it hurts Are near by.

Naw , what they used to do was wait and see how many people called in
the days before a release , call other SB shops ie blue tile in New Market
and that other shop Perception (i think) and see or come up with a number
to charge on release day. A few times they where doing "highest" offer
on some releases. I belive for the DOD's i went in and they had 2 pairs
i asked the price , they asked what my offer was. I was taking back with a
WTF look. I offered $500 and i was countered with a $600 .................

Id do the same thing as she did though. I mean what does she pay for
SB lows $60-80 i think ....... And from what i know in the past she has
to pay upfront for her SB's its not like a monthly bill. (might be like this
for all sb account holders but i cant say) Just know Adrift and Blue Tile
had to pay upfront , reason why they never had many pairs.

Lyndsey has more credability in the skate scene than most skate shop owners around.

I don't know about that. Nike offers pretty good terms, net 60. I heard Lyndsey didn't have the best financing, but Rob at Bluetile is doing really well. I don't see him having a problem getting terms.

adrift is one of the coolest skate shops, or stores for that matter, that I've ever had the pleasure of being in. If ever there was a shop that truly supported skating, adrift was/is one of them.

My guess is anyone who says it's a Hypebeast skate shop hasn't been there and is just talking out their a$$.

I don't know why they switched locations to begin with. There was a nice vibe in Kensington.

Im talking a few years back , not last week.
You speak Lyndseys name like you know her , so ask her.
I dont spread false stories or add to stories to make them sound better.
What i said came from her mouth , as for blue tile it may have been Rob or
his wife/girlfriend.

probably not...

case in point: vancouver.

underworld, the circle, goodfoot....all within a 5 minute radius (on foot).

i think since nike has been established they've dropped the distance thing. seems like it anyways.

really hope they come back. loved that the SB prices were 15-20bucks cheaper than other spots.

whats with cmoney talking smack about another store? did someone hack his account? that doesnt seem like him, & unprofessional at that.

One of Lyndsey's team guys(Cephas Benson) is one of the only SB riders in the country. I'm sure Jon(SB rep) will hook her up where ever she plants her roots.

And once again...Lyndsey has more credability than most shop owners in the city. Cmoney, you are foolish to think that she will have trouble getting the lines that she wants.

Yeah it's just up by Kensington...still with the traffic and one way streets I was sometimes put off with stopping by there unless I wanted to get some fresh produce and/or deli stuff and vintage shopping as well...

I bought a few vans there, neckface and hoisois...
