The Nike Air VaporMax Is Rumored to Be Releasing in March
For Air Max Day.
Almost a year after its initial unveiling at the Nike Innovation Summit, the Air VaporMax looks to be making its long-awaited debut. Rumors suggest that the heavily-cushioned silhouette, which also happens to be subject of a forthcoming COMME des GARÇONS collaboration, will release on the 2017 Air Max Day (March 26). The impressive design has taken Nike’s Air Max technology to the next level by replacing the conventional heavy foam outsole structure with one that is made entirely from air bubble cushioning. The upper’s construction prioritizes comfort as well using a Flyknit upper that further reduces the weight of the shoe.
