Wrangler and nonnative Collaborate on a Special Denim Collection
To tie in with the Japanese brand’s American Western theme for 2016 spring/summer.

It’s no secret that American vintage is a huge influence amongst a plethora of Japanese menswear brands. nonnative, whose 2016 spring/summer collection is entitled “Ground Control,” is actually inspired by the by the state of Texas — the label took cues from the cities of Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth and Houston to solidify the crux of the range. Furthermore on building the look and feel of the capsule, the brand also collaborated with Wrangler, a historic American denimwear brand for a collection that consists of jeans, a shirt and jacket. As you can tell, these traditional Western garments are slightly updated from the classic ”cowboy” or “rancher” garb — we see a zip fastening on the jacket and angular pockets on the shirt. Still, the pieces posses that old Western feel, perfect for denim aficionados and fans of anything that resembles American vintage.
The collection will range from 21,000 yen (approx. $198 USD) to 35,000 yen (approx. $329 USD) and will be available at BEAUTY & YOUTH UNITED ARROWS.
