Sonic Is Making a Comeback in 2017 With 'Project Sonic'
With an appearance from classic Sonic the Hedgehog.
While this year marks SEGA‘s 25th year since releasing the iconic 2D Sonic Mania game, that’s not the only return of the speedster worth announcing. SEGA’s Sonic Team have been working on a new imprint into the franchise called Project Sonic, that will officially revive the beloved character back to modern times. With nothing much to go on yet, we do have the first trailer released by SEGA which features a couple of henchbots and Sonic himself, as well as a second Sonic, which resembles the hedgehog’s classic make-up. Releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s NX, the game is set for a 2017 release, so hopefully we’ll have more information and trailers to come.
