‘Sonic Rumble’ Prepares for Battle Royale Debut in New Trailer
Taking cues from the iconic ‘Fall Guys’ Game.
Sonic the Hedgehog is set to make its debut in the battle royale genre with the release of Sonic Rumble, a vibrant and playful game inspired by the lighthearted style of Fall Guys.
Sonic Rumble is a free-to-play battle royale game where players compete in various mini-games based on Sonic lore. Up to 32 players can race through different stages, striving to outlast their opponents while collecting rings, a signature element of the Sonic series. With its Fall Guys-inspired design and a roster of beloved characters like Sonic, Tails and Shadow, the game offers a fun and refreshing departure from the more intense, competitive battle royales.
Available on both mobile and PC platforms, Sonic Rumble delivers quick, enjoyable multiplayer experiences. The game features multiple skill slots and the ability to form crews, adding a strategic element to gameplay. Players can also customize their characters and tailor their loadouts for a more personalized experience, with additional rewards to unlock, including a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie skin.
Sonic Rumble is set to launch on May 8.
